Who we are
Po-Hsu Chen, an individual, operates the Sugoso Pro waitlist and is the data controller for the information you give it. The best way to reach us about your information, including any request described below, is by email: pohsuchenwork@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you submit to the waitlist: your email address (required), your name (optional), and the date you joined. We collect nothing else about you: no analytics that identify you, no tracking cookies (see the Cookie Policy), and no profiling.
As with any website, our infrastructure providers automatically process the basic technical data needed to deliver and secure the page, such as your IP address and request details, in their standard server logs. We do not use this to identify you, do not link it to your signup, and do not build any profile from it. Those logs are held by Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database) under their own privacy terms.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your information to operate the waitlist, to email you about Sugoso Pro, and to prevent abuse of the form. A hidden "honeypot" field lets us drop automated spam, and our database briefly processes a salted, hashed form of your network address to rate-limit abusive submissions; that hash is deleted within about an hour and is not linked to your signup. For people in the EU or UK, our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form, and which you can withdraw at any time. We record the time of your signup and the version of the consent wording you saw, so that we can demonstrate your consent. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising. Any email we send will identify us as the sender and give you a one-click way to unsubscribe.
Giving us your information is not a statutory or contractual requirement; the only consequence of not giving it is that you will not be on the waitlist. We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with, and where it's stored
Only our infrastructure providers, as needed to run the waitlist: Supabase (database; this project's data is stored in Australia) and Vercel (site hosting). No one else. If you are outside Australia, please note that your information is stored in Australia, and you submit it to us directly with that knowledge.
How long we keep it
Until Sugoso Pro launches and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. You can ask at any time and we will remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete your information, or to withdraw your consent, at any time; email us and we will action it. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (the Australian Privacy Principles), the EU or UK GDPR (including access and erasure under Articles 15 and 17), or the California CCPA/CPRA, among others. You may also complain to your privacy regulator; in Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
How we protect it
Signups are stored in Supabase with Row Level Security, so the public key this website uses can add a signup but cannot read, change, or delete the list. Your information is sent over HTTPS.
Children
The waitlist is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
